Position SummaryALL Crane Rental of Georgia, located in Phenix City is seeking a Crane and Heavy Equipment Service Technician & Mechanic. Hands‑on experience with cranes and lift equipment is a big plus. This is a full‑time, non‑exempt position with comprehensive benefits in a shop environment. The successful candidate will be required to join IUOE Local 312; assistance with joining will be provided.Essential FunctionsResponsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, assembly and disassembly of mobile cranes and heavy duty trucksDiagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as neededReads, understands and interprets operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints and technical drawingsPositive interface with service writers, supervisor, parts department and customersPrepare proper documentation of actions takenAble to work with diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairsMaintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulationsOther duties as assignedSkills and Experience RequirementsStrong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervisionMust have a strong diesel engine, hydraulic and electrical backgroundMust have basic set of mechanic's hand toolsAbility to work safely around moving machinery; to work in conditions with marked changes in temperature & humidityAble to lift 50 lbs.Manufacturer's training will be an integral part of this position.
