Job Title: Remote Registrar

Profession: Health Information Management

Specialty: Oncology

Duration: 13 weeks with opportunity to extend

Shift: Monday-Friday

Hours per Shift: 8 hours (Acceptable work window 4:30 AM - 11:00 PM EST)

Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience within specialty

License: Associate's degree in relevant field; Bachelor's preferred

Certifications: Required CTR/ODS certification verification

Must-Have:

  • Registrars must be able to handle complex cases, including BMT treatments, multiple facility abstracts, and rare/complex primary sites.
  • An assessment may be provided to determine fit based on scores.
  • A quality review will be conducted with a minimum expectation of 90% accuracy and a mean of 95%.
  • There is an expectation to complete user-defined fields.

Description: This is a fully remote opportunity. Candidates must have their own equipment, including a PC and dual monitor setup. The position does not require weekend work. The role involves abstracting cases that can be particularly challenging without the necessary level of experience.
