Utilizes standards, guidelines, protocols, or pathways for care delivery. Incorporates data and information to continuously improve care and practice to enhance outcomes. Will provide care as a team with the nurses such as but not limited to:Obtaining Blood Glucose readingsHelping patient with mealtime feedingsBathingPatient restroom assistance and cleaningAmbulation of the patientGroomingLifting, turning, and repositioning of patients in beds and chairsBlood draws for patient labsCollaborating with nurses, MDs, and other patient care specialtiesEmptying and obtaining wound or surgical drain outputWound or surgical incision site dressing changesPOSITION QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or 10 years of relevant experienceNo prior experience is required.EAH will provide on the job training: medical terminology class, phlebotomy clinical, BLS class, and 1-on-1 training with an MCT in your department.Required Registration/License/CertificationBLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire date.
