Position SummaryThe Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing high-quality menu items in accordance with Twin Peaks standards. This role ensures all food is prepared consistently, safely, and efficiently while maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.Line Cooks play a critical role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by upholding food quality, speed of service, and operational excellence in a fast-paced kitchen environment.Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation & Execution* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and specifications.* Follow all prep procedures and line build standards to ensure consistency and quality.* Check quality and freshness of ingredients prior to use.* Maintain proper portioning and presentation standards.Cleanliness & Sanitation* Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times.* Follow all food safety, sanitation, and GHS standards.* Ensure compliance with all company policies, health regulations, and safety procedures.Kitchen Operations & Teamwork* Work collaboratively with other Heart of House and Front of House team members to ensure efficient service.* Assist with opening, closing, and daily prep responsibilities.* Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.* Participate in training and development using company systems and tools.* Perform additional duties as assigned by management.Uniform & Appearance Standards* Maintain a clean and professional appearance in accordance with Twin Peaks uniform standards.* Follow all grooming, hygiene, and dress code requirements.Reporting Structure* Report To: Restaurant managerQualifications* Previous experience as a line cook or in a high-volume kitchen environment preferred.* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.* Ability to work as part of a team.Skills & Competencies* Strong work ethic and sense of urgency* Attention to detail and organization* Ability to follow instructions and procedures* Team-oriented mindset* Dependability and accountabilityWork EnvironmentThis position operates in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen environment with exposure to heat, noise, and varying temperatures.Physical Demands* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (kegs, cases, supplies)* Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks* Ability to work in wet, humid, or high-temperature environmentsCertifications & Training* Must complete all required Twin Peaks Heart of House training prior to working independently.* Must comply with all local and state certification requirements (e.g., food handler certifications).Additional InformationThis job description is intended to outline the general responsibilities and qualifications for this role.
