Performance Expert (R2PC) – Ft Benning, Georgia

Overview

KBR is seeking a Performance Expert to help strengthen the physical and psychological health, resilience, and performance of Soldiers, Unit Leaders, Families, and DA Civilians located at Army Installations. The role supports Army training and education programs across installations to improve overall well‑being and operational readiness.

Responsibilities
  • Instruct individuals in holistic strength and conditioning and resilience practices, including training intake, course material development, event facilitation, grading, and documentation in required databases.
  • Assess training impact through surveys, After‑Action Reviews, and quarterly data analysis; provide reports to leadership within five workdays of session completion.
  • Observe instructor delivery, provide feedback, and maintain training records to ensure high‑quality instruction.
  • Integrate resilience and performance concepts with unit missions, teach communication and counseling skills, and develop critical thinking to overcome challenges and foster cohesive teams.
  • Deliver personalized educational programs to help personnel thrive in demanding environments and achieve personal, professional, and family goals.
Required Education / Experience
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Coaching Education, Kinesiology, or related field with emphasis on performance or sport psychology.
  • Teaching or coaching experience, preferably with military and DoD personnel.
  • Thorough knowledge of Army organizational structure, mission objectives, procedures, regulations, and policy.
  • Completion of required performance certification prior to assignment.
Preferred Education / Experience
  • Certifications or memberships in professional associations such as AASP, CMPC, ABSP, or ability to obtain one within a year of hire.
Compensation

Salary – $56,000 annually; no relocation.

Additional Compensation – KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other incentives per internal policy, including sign‑on bonuses, short‑term and long‑term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
