Proficient in data analysis, process and quality control, and associated tools and methods, including graphical analysis; control charts; correlation & regression analysis; hypothesis testing; design of experiments.Ability to convey methods and analysis outputs to all levels of employees and prepare statistical studies and trend analyses using internal and external information to demonstrate relevant changes or improvement.Knowledge and understanding of corporate ethics and integrity expectations, compliance‑related metrics, and field force duties, responsibilities and metrics.Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.Experience with Business Intelligence tools, such as Business Objects.Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of internal and external customers.Basic knowledge and skills in Microsoft Access, Business Intelligence Reporting Tools, Business Case Preparation, Business Cost/Benefit Analysis, Financial/Budget Analysis, Business Performance Analysis & Forecasting, and Statistical Analysis.Basic knowledge and skills in Visio, SAP, Adobe Acrobat, Advanced Analysis Tools, Lean Six Sigma, and Statistical Analysis Tools preferred.Intermediate knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Data Trend Analysis & Interpretation.Education & Experience Required Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Business Management, Risk Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.One to two years of job‑related experience.Education & Experience Preferred Certification or designation in one or more of the following (desired): Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE); Fraud Claims Law Specialist (FCLS); Health Care Anti‑Fraud Associate (HCAFA); Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator (CIFI); Certified Insurance Fraud Analyst (CIFA); Six Sigma and/or Lean Six Sigma.Principal Duties & Responsibilities Research, plan, organize, and conduct data mining and analyses of enterprise‑wide data to identify fraudulent or suspicious activities across employees, policyholders, accounts, associates, brokers, hierarchy, TPAs, and entities.Establish and maintain effective data within systems and specialized project reference files to meet current reporting needs and future enhancements; perform research and analysis to provide accurate and meaningful information.Operate with independent action and decision‑making, guided by more experienced analysts, while ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.Execute department process and procedure reviews; provide input on recommendations, changes, or enhancements that streamline activities or enhance service turnaround times, productivity, and quality.Facilitate effective and efficient use of corporate resources; enhance customer satisfaction; coordinate workflow and task assignments, being mindful of priority, expiration, and deadlines; perform scheme research to identify possible enterprise‑level fraud activities or transactions.Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department and throughout the organization.Perform other duties as required.Total Rewards The salary range for this job is $50,000 – $70,000. This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting. At Aflac, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role to allow for future and continued salary growth, and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate.
