Description:

Columbus Technical College is seeking an individual to serve as an adjunct for Societies Human Resource Management Certification (SHRM) (non-credit). Under minimal supervision, this individual will prepare lesson plans for classroom instruction; evaluate students' progress in attaining goals, objectives, and student learning outcomes, and attend staff meetings. Further requirements include assisting with recruitment, and retention. This position requires day, evening, and/or on-line instruction. This position is part-time/non-exempt.ResponsibilitiesPrepare material for SHRM classCoordinate SHRM curriculum or content of classes, lectures, or other educational materialsOversee the operations of certificationStaying abreast of changes in the SHRM industryEnsures adherence to technical college and safety requirements in classrooms and labs by following established proceduresEnsures consistency in syllabi, lesson plans, educational materials, assessments, and other appropriate course work based on the SHRM guidelinesMonitors use of and maintains supplies, equipment and/or facilities for assigned programIdentifiesAssists with registration and orientation functionsDisplays a high level of effort and commitment to performing work; operates effectively within the organizational structure; demonstrates trustworthiness and responsible behaviorMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Management, Business Administration, or related field.SHRM CertificationTwo years in teaching or training.Salary / BenefitsPay rate is commensurate with education and experience, no benefits.Equal OpportunityEqual opportunity and decisions based on merit are fundamental values of the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG).
