Under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, this role assists individuals with mental health conditions and/or developmental disabilities in building life skills, achieving treatment goals, and maintaining a safe, therapeutic living environment./ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliSupport residents with daily living activities, including hygiene, meal preparation, medication prompts, and room upkeep./liliAssist residents in developing coping skills, interpersonal communication, and healthy routines./liliObserve, monitor, and document resident behaviors and report significant changes to clinical staff./liliParticipate in the implementation of individual service or treatment plans under clinical supervision./liliFacilitate group activities, community outings, and wellness programs that promote engagement and stability./liliDe-escalate situations using trauma-informed and person-centered approaches./liliEnsure a safe, respectful, and inclusive residential environment at all times./liliAll other duties as assigned./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in human services, psychology, or related field preferred./liliMinimum one year of experience working in a behavioral health or residential care setting strongly preferred./liliAbility to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team./liliStrong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills./liliMust be able to pass a background check and maintain CPR/First Aid certification (training provided if needed)./li/ulpTransportation Responsibilities:/pulliProvide transportation for consumers as needed using agency or personal vehicles./liliMaintain a safe driving record and valid drivers license with personal liability insurance./liliFollow all agency transportation policies, including seatbelt usage, safe cellphone practices, and vehicle documentation./liliImmediately report any vehicle issues, accidents, or violations to appropriate personnel./li/ulpWork Environment Schedule:/pulliThis position involves extended periods of walking, standing, and occasional lifting of up to 50+ pounds./liliThe schedule is variable and may require evening, overnight, weekend, or holiday shifts in a 24-hour facility./liliExposure to emotionally stressful situations may occur./li/ulpIn-Service Training Continued Education Requirements:/pulliParticipate in all required agency in-service and ADMH trainings/liliCommitment to ongoing professional development to enhance skills and stay informed on best practices in behavioral health./liliCompletion of onboarding and any continuing education requirements as directed by the agency or supervisor./liliCompletion of PCM Practitioner I or II training required based on program needs as well as recertifications as needed./li/ul/div
