Major Responsibilities:Programs equipment for repair into shops and manage the resources (personnel, repair parts, facilities, tools) in order to complete all repairs/services IAW contract requirements. Oversees acceptance, initial, in-progress, critical task and final inspection on all types of equipment. Provides technical assistance for the diagnostics and inspection of equipment. Performs classification on all types of equipment IAW the appropriate documentation. Prepares labor and parts estimates toward the cost of repairs. Conducts load testing of various types of Material Handling Equipment. Identifies repair part requirements using the appropriate technical manuals. Tests equipment to ensure proper operation. Manages timecard approval processing to ensure accuracy. Plans, directs and manages personnel and required resources.
