This position provides complex administrative and secretarial support for the Institute of Governments faculty and staff working onsite at Fort Benning, Georgia. Roles and responsibilities include assisting the Fort Benning Defense Community Resilience Program staff with on and off installation work associated with the installation and surrounding community project management. This role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day administrative operations, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and supporting general office functions. The position requires the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage communications effectively across various platforms. Additional responsibilities include organizing and maintaining documentation, tracking reports, developing agendas, supporting meeting logistics, research, note-taking, and drafting materials such as memos, summaries, and mass distribution emails.
