POSITION TITLE: Child Nutrition Program Manager - SUPERVISES: All Child Nutrition Program Workers
JOB GOAL: To provide each student and faculty member with food of high nutritious quality in an atmosphere of cleanliness, cheerfulness, and personal caring.
QUALIFICATIONS:
REPORTS TO: School Principal/Child Nutrition Program Coordinator/Supervisor - SALARY: To be determined commensurate with local salary matrix, credentials, and experience.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Working knowledge of quantity food preparation, sanitation principles, menu planning, inventory control, record keeping and production schedules. Previous experience in food service management. Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory in specific field. Ability to develop effective working relationships with students, staff and the school community. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Nine months. Other contract terms and salary to be established by the Board.

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's Policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
