NDT stands for Non-Destructive Testing. This position entails walking, standing, and working at a desk while monitoring a computer screen in a controlled environment. Implement related training and/or education in Quality processes or its equivalent, including on the job training in NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) inspection techniques. Utilize working knowledge of Matec and IRT Ultrasonic systems. Complete classroom theory, On-The -Job Training) OJT and certification examination as required by Pratt & Whitney NDT qualifications (800 hours on the job training)Re-certification will occur at intervals specified by Pratt & Whitney qualifications. Perform Ultrasonic Inspections using IRT or Matec Systems. Perform daily walk around of equipment, maintain cleanliness of inspection area and be capable of troubleshooting equipment issues. Responsible for Analyzing Computer Generated Data and signing off product Inspections.
