NDT stands for Non-Destructive Testing. This position entails walking, standing, and working at a desk while monitoring a computer screen in a controlled environment. Implement related training and/or education in Quality processes or its equivalent, including on the job training in NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) inspection techniques. Utilize working knowledge of Matec and IRT Ultrasonic systems. Complete classroom theory, On-The -Job Training) OJT and certification examination as required by Pratt & Whitney NDT qualifications (800 hours on the job training)Re-certification will occur at intervals specified by Pratt & Whitney qualifications. Perform Ultrasonic Inspections using IRT or Matec Systems. Perform daily walk around of equipment, maintain cleanliness of inspection area and be capable of troubleshooting equipment issues.
