Positions for income-eligible youth ages 16-24 or 2026 High School Graduates $14.00 per hour - Six (6) Week Program - June 8 July 24, 2026 The MYSEP provides work experience for young people by matching them up with summer jobs at local government agencies. As a participant, you will benefit from a source of income and work experience, and gain skills for academic and career success. Accepted MSYEP participants will commit to 6 weeks of work from June 8, 2026, to July 24, 2026. Students will work 20 hours per week during the 6-week period. Students will be paid $14.00 perhour. The Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program places you in a variety of local government agencies (Community Reinvestment, Parks & Recreation, Columbus Civic Center, Homeland Security, Metra, Worksource Georgia-Area 14, Let's Grow STEM, MCSD, Columbus Water Works, and Davis Broadcasting).
