A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology Job Details: • Work Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends except for call shifts • Possible call requirements: Monday-Friday 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM; Saturday-Sunday 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM (1-2 days per week and every fourth weekend) • 13 orientation hours required • Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed • Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted • Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (NM) and/or NMTCB • Must be proficient with Epic, Pyxis, and PACS systems • Scrub colors: Black, Gray, or Purple • Patient population: Pediatrics to Geriatrics • Perform HIDA scans, bone scans, lymphoscintigraphy, gastric emptying studies, brain death studies, myocardial perfusion SPECT, I-123 scan/uptake, I-131 whole body scans, I-131 ablations, renal scans with or without Lasix, parathyroid scans • EKG experience preferred • Possibility of floating to sister facility for STAT inpatient cases • Holiday work required based on assignment period: work all holidays if one or two occur during assignment, work two holidays if three occur during assignment • Full compliance required to start on time Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive nuclear medicine department providing advanced diagnostic imaging services.
