With decades of experience in both Georgia and Alabama, we understand the complexities of injury cases and pride ourselves on individualized, compassionate service.We are seeking a highly organized, detail-focused Remote Paralegal who is comfortable handling complex case files and active litigation support. This role has no direct reports and requires someone who can proactively manage their workload with independence and strong judgment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage complex personal injury case files from intake through settlement or litigation support.Draft, review, and prepare legal documents including complaints, motions, discovery, medical summaries, settlement demands, and trial materials.Actively support litigation by preparing exhibits, managing deadlines, coordinating filings, and organizing case strategy materials.Obtain, review, and summarize medical records, bills, and supporting evidence.Communicate professionally with clients, insurance carriers, medical providers, opposing counsel, and court staff.Maintain and update case files in the firm's case-management system.Conduct factual and legal research as needed.Participate in virtual meetings and travel to Columbus, GA periodically (within 2 hours).Work closely with attorneys to move cases forward efficiently and effectively.Qualifications3+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in personal injury or litigation.Family law experience is a strong plus, as it often involves complex case management and client communication skills valuable to this role.Prior experience managing complex or high-volume case files.Strong understanding of personal injury processes, including treatment tracking, negotiations, and litigation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.High attention to detail, organization, and time management.Proficiency in legal case-management systems and Microsoft Office.Ability to work independently in a remote environment; no supervisory responsibilities.Must reside within 2 hours of Columbus, GA, for occasional onsite needs.Preferred TraitsCompassionate, client-focused communicator.Ability to multitask and stay calm in demanding situations.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Experience with Georgia and/or Alabama PI litigation.What We OfferRemote work with flexibility.
