Job Details

This position is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of pools. Places fences at special events; sets up stages, podiums, flags, and stairs. Mows grass, operates a weedeater, edges grass, and blows leaves. May order parts and supplies; may transport parts and equipment to work sites; may maintain tools and equipment. Drive city vehicles for deliveries/transporting. Responsible for recording and maintaining chemical balance in pools. Performs janitorial duties as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of the methods and techniques used in park maintenance activities. Knowledge of the techniques used in the maintenance of assigned equipment. Skill in problem solving and decision making. Skill in the operation of hand and power tools. Skill in oral and written communication. Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
