Job Details

This position is responsible for participating in Convention and Trade Center event operations. Cleans administrative offices, work rooms, break rooms, and restrooms; vacuums, dusts, empties trash cans, cleans toilets, shines mirrors and faucets, cleans sink basins and counters, and sweeps and mops floors. Sets up rooms as assigned; reviews diagrams; places tables, chairs, risers, stages, dance floors, podiums, AV equipment, and lighting as designated. Cleans floors; vacuums and shampoos carpets as needed. Breaks down rooms upon completion of events; returns all tables, chairs, and other equipment to appropriate storage areas. Cleans main hallways, restrooms, windows, and public use areas. Performs grounds maintenance duties; picks up trash; empties ash urns; cleans windows, polishes door knobs; pressure washes walkways as needed.
