Overview

The Warehouse Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary warehouse environment. This role supports daily operations by ensuring all areas of the facility meet cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize warehouse floors, restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors as needed
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly
• Clean windows, doors, and high-touch surfaces
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper
• Operate cleaning equipment (floor scrubbers, vacuums, etc.) safely
• Follow safety procedures and proper handling of cleaning chemicals
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment problems
• Maintain janitorial storage areas in a clean and organized manner
• Ensure compliance with company cleanliness and safety standards

Skills and Experience

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous janitorial or warehouse cleaning experience preferred but not required
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
• Attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to ___ lbs (as applicable)

• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
