Responsibilities:

Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks on diagnostic medical equipment specific medical devices. Inspect, test, replace and adjust malfunctioning components and parts. Keep records of system problems and issues.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Associates Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronic Technology, Imaging Service Technology or a related field OR
• In lieu of degree, related military training. OR
• In lieu of degree, three (3) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement.

Work Experience:

• Five (5) years of experience (expert trained) performing corrective and preventive maintenance on high-tech diagnostic equipment, such as CT, MRI, Cath & IR labs, Nuclear Med, Mammography, Linear Accelerators. OR
• In lieu of degree, eight (8) years of relevant experience (see above).

Licenses and Certifications:

• Must possess specialized training by manufacturer or third-party equipment repair in high end equipment such Diagnostic Imaging Service. OR
• Certified Radiology Equipment Service (CRES) Preferred.
