Human Resources Generalist - Remote/Hybrid - Los Angeles, CA

Must reside in the Southern California area

The Company:

A thriving insurance brokerage with over 20 years in the business is growing its team and is looking to add an HR Generalist to the Human Resources team! This agency is devoted to ensuring its employees are cared for and rewarded for their hard work and dedication with fun company events and bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining correct payroll and timesheet information
• Updating employee handbook according to company policies and employment laws
• Overseeing employee new hire orientation, onboarding, and termination process
• Abiding by legal regulations/requirements for Human Resources records
• Collaborating with hiring managers and recruiters to determine hiring needs
• Conducting employee benefits open enrollment, safety training, anti-harassment training, etc.

What we need from you:

• 3+ years of experience in Human Resources
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
• HR Designations preferred
• Proficient with MS Office
• Bilingual in Spanish is required
• Knowledge of FMLA, PDL, ADA, Workers Compensation, etc.
