ASAP is hiring on behalf of our client for a Senior Project Scheduler to support large-scale energy and industrial projects located near Columbus, GA. This is a full-time, onsite, contract-to-hire position at the client jobsite. Candidates must be local to the area.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to develop and manage detailed project schedules, support project execution, and ensure timelines are met across complex industrial projects. This role will work closely with project management and project controls teams to drive schedule performance and provide critical insights into project progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
  • Monitor schedule performance, identify variances, and provide regular updates to project leadership
  • Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis to identify key project activities and risks
  • Lead schedule update and coordination meetings with project stakeholders
  • Identify schedule risks and opportunities and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Analyze schedule impacts related to change orders and scope modifications
  • Support cost and schedule integration with Project Controls teams
  • Ensure accurate progress tracking, reporting, and forecasting

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 5+ years of industrial project scheduling experience
  • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 (required)
  • Experience performing schedule analysis, forecasting, and recovery planning
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Experience supporting energy, power generation, or industrial projects is highly preferred
