By staying updated on industry trends and focusing on delightful UX, you'll continuously refine our web properties—ultimately delivering an exceptional experience from first touch through ongoing engagement.If you're based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. If you're located beyond that distance, the role is fully remote. Lead complex frontend projects that establish Vercel as a gold standard for brand and product marketing.Design and implement scalable applications, web services, and APIs with a focus on user experience and performance.Contribute to our design system and uphold industry-leading UX standards (e.g., interactions, micro-animations, layout consistency).Continuously improve engineering processes, tools, and systems to scale the codebase and team productivity.Troubleshoot and fix bugs, delivering quick, high-quality resolutions.Write technical documents and maintain internal tools to empower other teams.Critically think about foundational areas of the Vercel application to ensure ease of maintenance and future extensibility.5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience (React, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, or similar).~ js and familiarity with modern frontend frameworks.~ Full stack experience (comfortable designing or consuming APIs and working with various services).~ Deep understanding of SEO principles and best practices—especially around performance, accessibility, and search optimization.~ Proven knowledge of A/B testing concepts and conversion rate optimization.~ Eye for good user experiences and a knack for “getting the visuals right.”~ Bonus If You:Have familiarity with the Vercel platform.Comfortable using Tailwind CSS.Background in web design or interest in design systems.Competitive compensation package, including equity.Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.Flexible Time Off.We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role.
