Manufacturing Supervisor - 2nd shift

Position summary:

The Manufacturing Supervisor leads manufacturing teams at our RCA plant located in West Point, Georgia by creating a safe and high-performance work environment. This role emphasizes coaching, employee development, and accountability while ensuring production goals for safety, quality, on time delivery, and productivity are met.

Educational requirements:

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Will consider: High school diploma or G.E.D. with equivalent manufacturing experience
Skills and experience:
  • At least two (2) years of manufacturing supervisory experience
  • Excellent communication, coaching and problem-solving skills
Essential duties:
  • Coach, develop, and engage associates to build skills, ownership, and accountability
  • Foster a positive team culture focused on safety, respect, and continuous improvement
  • Lead by example and reinforce company values, safety expectations, and work standards
  • Ensure compliance with all safety rules, environmental regulations, and company policies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through strong housekeeping practices
  • Ensure awareness of and adherence to departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
  • Align staffing, materials, and priorities to meet daily production goals
  • Provide regular feedback, conduct performance evaluations, and support employee growth
  • Train and onboard new employees, reinforcing best practices, quality standards, and safe work methods
  • Address performance, attendance, and conduct issues fairly and consistently
  • Collaborate with other leaders to improve communication, workflow, and results
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Considerable walking and standing
