General Manager

The General Manager is responsible for executing the store plan to achieve established standards, sales, local marketing programs and profits. This is done primarily by staffing, personnel training, operating, and maintaining the store such that customer satisfaction is maximized.

General Manager is full time 40 hour a week exempt position. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, STD, LTD and 401k.

Knowledge:

• Wendy's operating systems and procedures.
• Wendy's policies and procedures.
• P&L analysis and corrective measures.
• Supervisory practices.
• Planning and budgeting.
• Interviewing practices.
• Training and development practices.

Education:

• College degree or equivalent experience in operations.

Experience:

• 1-2 years management / operations experience in the restaurant industry.
• Must be able to perform all restaurant operations positions/functions.

Other Physical Requirements:

• The General Manager job requires standing for long periods of time without a break.
• The General Manager job requires being able to meet the requirements of all subordinate positions.
• Must possess a valid drivers license.
• Travels to multiple stores as needed.
• Physical inspections of all areas of restaurant.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Move and inspect all supplies in restaurant.
• Work in hot and cold environments (restaurant, cooler, freezer).
