West Central Georgia Regional Hospital is seeking candidates for the position of Health Care Worker Hourly. This position is hourly and not eligible for State Benefits. Will work on average 29 hours a week.
This is hourly paid work performing health care assistance services. Positions in this job are established for less than 9 months or are scheduled for less than 30 hours per week and are not eligible for benefits if the position status is temporary (i.e., SCOA 513). Positions in this job are established for greater than 9 months and scheduled for greater than 30 hours per week if the position status is permanent labor (i.e., SCOA 512). Normally permanent labor positions are eligible for Health Insurance benefits.
Provides basic patient care and work with patients/clients to develop daily living skills. Completes required documentation in patient and unit records. Takes vital signs as needed and document accordingly in the Electronic Medical Record. Ensures safety and security of clients. Observes and documents patient data, behavior, and activity. Prepares clients for treatments or examinations. May assist with bathing or activities of daily living.
