JOB SUMMARY

The Catering Delivery Associate plays a vital role in providing an exceptional dining experience by suggesting, serving, and delivering food and beverages to guests, utilizing the TueGo or Catering Delivery Service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Warmly welcome and bid farewell to each guest to ensure a memorable experience and foster repeat business.
• Answer incoming calls and assist guests with inquiries in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Guide guests through various food, beverage, catering, and promotional menus.
• Gather necessary details to process the TueGo/Catering order, including name, delivery location, and contact number.
• Accurately take and confirm guests' orders while entering them into the MICROS system.
• Package orders following Ruby Tuesday recipes, ensuring all requested items are included.
• Ensure high-quality preparation and presentation of all food and beverage items.
• Provide an accurate guest check, process payments, and efficiently complete transactions.
• Perform side work and maintain cleanliness and organization of TueGo, Catering, and Delivery materials.
• Refer guests with large catering orders to the dedicated Ruby Tuesday Catering Team.
• Deliver and set up catering orders punctually as per the specified timeframe.
• Undertake other responsibilities as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work long hours as needed.
• Ability to stand frequently and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort with operating equipment including coffee makers, POS systems, microwaves, computers, copiers, telephones, knives, ovens, and cell phones.
• Capability to reach overhead, carry catering cooler bags, handle beverages of varying temperatures, bend, crouch, and communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto liability insurance to deliver catering orders.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires regular attendance and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods. Frequent tasks include hearing, speaking, walking, crawling, climbing, standing, reaching, bending, balancing, kneeling, stooping, and lifting/carrying items up to 50 lbs. The role may involve exposure to temperature changes and frequent immersion of hands in water and cleaning solutions. Specific vision capabilities required include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
