The Billing Analyst analyzes large amounts of data, identifies root causes, and provides value added recommendations to management. He/she will be a pricing, rating, and special billing process workflow subject matter expert which includes training, testingIT enhancements and communicating system issues and changes. He/she will be expected to present to clients and all levels of management.
The Billing Analyst's main responsibility will be to support all aspects of the Ryder Last Mile billing functions with a focus on pricing, dedicated billing, and special processes. The Analyst will be involved heavily in report generation and IT testing in an effort to improve and enhance billing processes.
Analyzes customers' billing processes to discuss key aspects of financials in order to recommend key aspects of financial improvements, including reducing costs and maximizing profitability.
Researches and resolves billing discrepancies and recommends process improvements.
Generates KPI (Key Performance Indicators) and other statistical data for customers.
Analyzes the various revenue buckets that are billed to customers on a weekly basis, including revenue and commodity code analysis. Confirms all contractual rates and quantities are accurate in invoicing system
Conducts research and compiles data in order to prepare customized reports.
Ad Hoc requests and special projects as necessary.
Conducts audits of route details which directly correlate to the customers' invoice.
Entry of revenue and expense rating into billing and rating system
Performs other duties as assigned.
H.S. Diploma/GED - Required
Bachelor's Degree in related field - Preferred
Intermediate to Expert Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft programs Intermediate, Required
Adobe or equivalent electronic data management programs Intermediate, Required
