Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations and promptly report any suspicious activities.
  • Strictly adhere to food safety, sanitation, and safety guidelines, ensuring a secure working environment.
  • Efficiently manage ordering functions with wholesalers and maintain precise inventory control.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization in work areas and customer spaces.
  • Accurately prepare and dispense products using industry best practices.
  • Implement accurate billing procedures to maximize value for both customers and the company.
  • Handle phone inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
  • Understand and implement cash register operations to minimize losses.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout all processes of product reception and dispensing.
  • Assist the pharmacist with all non-judgmental tasks.
  • Maintain confidentiality by following HIPAA regulations.
  • Support company health and wellness initiatives.
  • Assist in stocking orders and adhering to delivery protocols.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing stress and conflict with poise.
  • Act with integrity regarding confidential customer and company information.
  • Provide respectful support to a diverse clientele, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
  • Fulfill all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Compliance with state requirements for pharmacy practice.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous pharmacy or retail experience.
  • Experience as a pharmacy clerk.
  • Familiarity with EPRN systems.
