Responsibilities and Duties* Demonstrate a clear understanding of, or the ability to learn, all department and state health standards related to safe food handling and maintaining a sanitary environment.* Maintain thorough knowledge of all menu items offered, including allergen information, preparation methods, and proper serving presentation.* Perform well in fast-paced, high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and professionalism.* Adapt to changing work environments, including exposure to hot and cold temperature fluctuations.* Assist in keeping kitchen stock well organized, rotated, labeled and protected* Able to effectively read and comprehend menus and order screens* Able to effectively communicate with front of house, leadership and guests as needed.* Provide exceptional service to all guests by being welcoming, approachable, respectful, and attentive to their needs and requests.* Work collaboratively with team members and interact with fellow hosts in a friendly, professional, and helpful manner at all times.* Maintain clean, safe, and efficient working conditions in all assigned areas.* Effectively follow direction and/or work independently to complete assigned checklists and daily procedures.* Comply with Callaway standards, policies, and regulations to ensure safe and efficient operations at all times.* Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag.* Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.Qualifications* Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.* Ability to demonstrate basic reading, comprehension, and math skills.* Ability to work closely with others; open and effective communication is essential.* Ability to regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds.* Ability to work in all weather conditions.* Ability to stand for extended periods of time.* Previous kitchen experience is preferred.* Must be at least 16 years of age.
