Job Overview:
The Heavy Truck Driver drives various CDL trucks with or without trailers up to 40 tons; to include: Straight Trucks, Dump Trucks, Lowboy, Semi-Trucks, and trailers. Vehicles will be used to transport material or equipment to various project sites. Drivers may also be required to load or unload truck or trailer with or without help, make minor mechanical repairs, and keep truck in good working order.

Daily operation of CDL vehicles
Transport material and equipment to various project sites.
Load and unload truck or trailer with or without help.
Other job duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
Must have 3-5 years of experience being a Truck Driver
Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
Valid State Driver's License
Meet requirements for DOT physical, pre-employment drug screening, background check, and MVR check (MVR points are subject to company policy)
Equipment operating skills are a plus

Wage Rates & Union Benefits
Wage rates and fringe benefits for this position are governed by terms of a collective bargaining agreement (CBA) between the company and a union with jurisdiction for the job location.
CBAs for union projects typically include a retirement plan (such as a pension, annuity, or 401(k)), health insurance (e.g., medical, dental, vision), and other benefits. APTIM pays the costs for some fringe benefit plans for employees working on union projects. Under some CBAs, however, you may be required to contribute a percentage of your wages toward the cost of these benefits.
Additionally, you may also qualify for paid sick leave, paid holidays, paid vacation, and supplemental insurance plans (e.g., life, short-term disability, long-term disability). The CBA contains the terms and conditions of eligibility as well as information about any costs to you.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range for this position is $30.23 per hour.
