Job Details

This position is responsible for operating a landfill in compliance with state and federal regulations. Establishes and maintains vegetation on slopes and disturbed areas. Installs and maintains erosion and sedimentation control structures. Drives dump truck and operates hydroseeder. Inspects loads and directs to proper disposal area. Assists customers with questions and concerns; maintains radio contact with landfill personnel. Makes daily bank deposits; maintains division inventory of parts and supplies. Prepares daily interior and exterior duty assignments for inmates; transports inmates to and from work sites and Muscogee County Prison. Enforces environmental regulations; completes regular inspections of facilities and submits all required reports. Operates bulldozer. Performs other related duties as assigned.
