Job Details

This position is responsible for supervising facilities maintenance and Plumbing activities. Supervises employees and inmates. Makes hiring recommendations. Performs performance evaluation. Arranges employee work schedules. Performs repairs on air conditioning units, water and sewage lines, and gas pumps. Digs ditches and installs new lines. Assists other departments and department heads. Installs new plumbing fixtures. Installs water heaters. Repairs and maintains fountains. Repairs and maintains pools. Performs other related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of department policies and procedures. Skill in organizing work, setting priorities, meeting critical deadlines, and following up on assignments. Knowledge of the use of tools to perform repairs. Skill in interpersonal relations.
