Job Details

Provide specialized occupational therapy services within a school setting to support students' developmental and functional needs. This full-time, onsite position is based near Columbus, GA, with school locations to be determined within the Muscogee County area. The contract runs from January 1st, 2026 through May 21st, 2026.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Adapt therapy techniques to address sensory, motor, and cognitive challenges in the school environment
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide recommendations to improve student outcomes

Qualifications:

• Active Georgia Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
• Minimum one year of clinical OT experience, preferably within pediatric settings
• Prior experience working in school-based occupational therapy is highly desirable
• Candidates with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credentials and school-based experience will be given priority
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an educational environment

Location and Hours:

• Position is located near Columbus, GA, with specific school placements to be determined
• Full-time schedule averaging 37.5 hours per week throughout the contract period
