Full Time Position:

Fire Department

Division Chief of Logistics

This position is responsible for directing the operations of the Logistics Division. They will serve under the supervision of the Assistant Chief of Administration.

Minimum Qualifications:
• NPQ Fire Instructor I and II
• NPQ Fire Officer I and II
• NPQ Fire Officer III and IV (within 12 months of appointment)
• NIMS ICS 300 and 400 (within 24 months of appointment)
• Chief Officer Orientation Day 1-4 (within 12 months of appointment)
• New Fire Chief 1, 2, and 3 (within 12 months of appointment)
• Licensed as EMT, EMT-I/AEMT, or Paramedic
• 10 years in Fire Service and 7 years of supervision (as defined by NFPA 1021)
• 40 College Credit Hours from 1 College/University

Preferred Qualifications:
• Associate's degree or higher in Fire Science, Public Administration, EMS Management, or a related field.
• Hold all minimal certifications.
• Experience managing inventory, distribution and associated workflows.
• Experience managing and operating Records Management Software (RMS) specific to inventory, ordering and supply distribution.
