Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Adhering to state and federal regulations to maintain high production standards.
  • Providing outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming experience for our donors.
  • Maintaining a clean and professional workspace at all times.
  • Confirming donor identification while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Preparing essential equipment for venipuncture and plasmapheresis procedures.
  • Accurately labeling units and samples for effective tracking and identification.
  • Executing venipunctures and overseeing plasma collection with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Operating automated plasmapheresis machines and responding promptly to any alerts or alarms.
  • Monitoring donor conditions to ensure their comfort and safety during the process.
  • Managing biohazardous waste and upholding workplace safety protocols.
  • Conducting routine maintenance of equipment and reporting any issues to management.
  • Keeping an inventory of supplies to ensure all stations are fully stocked.
  • Engaging in training programs to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Taking on additional responsibilities as directed by management.

What You Will Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Compliance with any specific certification or license requirements based on state regulations.
  • Preferred experience of at least three months in a medical or healthcare setting.
  • Completion of training documentation before working independently.
  • Strong customer service skills and a commitment to helping others.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation tasks.
  • Ability to read and understand safety regulations and procedures.
  • Effective communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with many interruptions.
  • Consistent attendance and flexibility in scheduling.
  • Ability to perform venipunctures accurately.

The expected base pay for this position ranges from $20.12 to $25.96, with a potential maximum of $32.45. Individual pay will be determined by qualifications, skill levels, experience, and other relevant factors.
