We are currently looking for a Payment Operations Team Lead. Our team supports a leading client in the technology sector by partnering closely with their Social Responsibility department to advance community-focused initiatives. We manage operational processes that facilitate the distribution of cash grants to nonprofit organizations, helping fund a wide range of meaningful causes. Through this work, the team plays a vital role in enabling the client's broader mission to drive positive social impact at scale.
Responsibilities of the Payment Operations Team Lead may include:
- Managerial responsibility for Payment Operations Team.
- Drive delivery in individual and team performance goals, objectives and expectations.
- Oversee day-to-day operations for multiple verticals such as payment request processing, events, and program support.
- Lead internal conversations with Process Owners, Business Units, and Administration.
- Client-facing role with reporting duties over team performance in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Act as an interface between client team & the internal team to ensure the team meets set SLA agreements.
- Identify process gaps and recommend solutions to drive process efficiency.
- Collaborate globally with various program managers to achieve targets throughput and accuracy.
- Address questions from internal and external stakeholders.
- Discover team members need and facilitate processes to ensure a smooth workflows.
- Encourage and Motivate team members to find their strengths, provide feedback, coaching and guidance.
- Take feedback from the team and resolve any grievances or conflicts.
- Recognize and reward high performers and accomplishments impartially
Basic Qualifications: - Minimum of 1 year of team management experience
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree
- Experience in payment processing and/or contract management
Professional Skills Requirements: - Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Strong analytical skills to understand SLA and KPI reporting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment showing adaptability ability to prioritize
