Job Responsibilities
- Design Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs to create bespoke therapy strategies aimed at achieving their personal goals.
- Implement Therapeutic Practices: Employ evidence-supported methods to improve motor skills, cognitive functions, and everyday activities.
- Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in unison with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff for holistic patient care.
- Guide Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their loved ones on therapy techniques that empower progress at home.
- Track Patient Progress: Monitor clinical developments and modify treatment plans to ensure patients are on the right track to recovery.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Ongoing education and certifications encouraged and supported
- Possess an active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT certification is mandatory
- A heartfelt commitment to helping others achieve their maximum level of independence
- Effective and compassionate interaction with patients and team members
