Your Role Will Involve:

  • Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations to uphold production standards.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a positive experience for our donors.
  • Keeping your workspace clean and professional at all times.
  • Verifying donor identification while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Preparing all necessary equipment for venipuncture and plasmapheresis procedures.
  • Labeling units and samples accurately to ensure full tracking and identification.
  • Performing venipunctures and managing plasma collection with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Operating automated plasmapheresis machines and responding to any alarms or alerts.
  • Monitoring donor conditions to ensure comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Handling biohazardous waste and maintaining workplace safety protocols.
  • Conducting routine maintenance of equipment, reporting any issues to management.
  • Maintaining inventory of supplies and ensuring all stations are well-stocked.
  • Participating in training initiatives to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Taking on additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Compliance with any specific certification or license requirements based on state laws.
  • Preferred experience of at least three months in a medical or healthcare setting.
  • Completion of training documentation before working independently.
  • Strong customer service abilities and a willingness to help others.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety regulations and procedures.
  • Effective communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with interruptions.
  • Consistent attendance and flexibility in scheduling.
  • Ability to perform venipunctures accurately.

The expected base pay for this position is $20.12 - $25.96 - $32.45. Individual pay will be determined by qualifications, skill level, experience, and other relevant factors.
