As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a cultural institution, you will monitor galleries and public spaces, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet guests and staff, provide clear directions, and communicate concerns promptly while supporting exhibit integrity and visitor experience. What You'll Do:
+ Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific policies, access control procedures, and other security-related duties, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout galleries, offices, and exterior perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
+ Monitor entrances, exhibit spaces, and public areas for unusual conditions, assist with wayfinding and queue management, and help to protect artwork and property by observing and reporting concerns.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, lost children or guests, and alarms, and coordinate with local responders as directed.
+ Complete patrol logs and incident reports, communicate updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision, and support opening and closing routines such as checking doors, gates, and restricted areas.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
