Job Title: QA Engineer I

Location: Fully remote position. May be required to report to Vienna office located at 8219 Leesburg Pike, Suite 450, Vienna, VA 22182 once per quarter.

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Work in a highly dynamic Agile environment having daily stand-up meetings, scrums and face-to-face communication
  • Participate in all the phases of Software Development Life Cycle including requirement gathering, analysis, design, development and deployments
  • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing high level and low-level design documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts and code comments
  • Implement and deploy sophisticated business logics and solutions based on requirements of the application using CodeceptJs testing framework with Playwright helper, Angular, Node JS, and PostgreSQL
  • Develop and maintain automated regression test cases in Visual studio code using Java Script; Develop SQL queries for PostgreSQL Database
  • Involved in organizing the Defect Triage Meetings with the UAT team to set the priority of the bugs logged
  • Use Page Object Model, UI Mapping, and Data Driven using Xpath & CSS Selectors as a part of Framework
  • Use Git hub and Bitbucket to manage the code repository and automate builds
  • Investigate and resolve reported application issues and perform Unit Tests to verify the fix
  • Collaborate with other team members and operational teams to understand architecture of the application and create optimum software solutions
  • Use Report Portal to track and manage all the test reports
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure that all solutions are aligned with architectural specifications and identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues
  • Document and maintain functional aspects of the software application as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades
  • Actively involved with SCRUM and sprint meetings, managing product backlog, removing obstacles to progress, prioritizing, and reviewing milestones and accomplishments
  • Develop Automation tests for all the modules including CNR, MCC, MR and LCM. (specific modules mentioned - not in the first list)
  • Develop Test Scenarios and Test Cases based on the business process flows and the Functional Specifications and the Acceptance Criteria in the stories and provide the detailed QA estimates
  • Responsible for Test Strategy, Planning, verify test analysis and design deliverables
  • Execute Test cases for both manual and automation to verify actual results against expected results
  • Log and report the defects using JIRA tool, bug fixing and tracking
  • Use Confluence for project collaboration, functional specification gathering and project Documents

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology or closely related field
  • 1 year of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupations where the required software engineering experience is gained
  • Must have the following: Proficient with JavaScript, Angular, Node JS, CodeceptJs, WebDriver, Agile, Jenkins, Aurora PostgreSQL, Visual Studio Code, Git Hub, Report portal. Knowledge in CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services)
