Position Summary
Energy Savers is seeking a motivated HVAC Install Assistant to support our installation team with residential heating and cooling system installs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the HVAC trade while learning hands-on from experienced technicians. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist lead installers with residential HVAC system installations, including furnaces, air handlers, condensers, ductwork, and related components
  • Load, unload, and transport equipment, tools, and materials to and from job sites
  • Help prepare job sites and ensure a clean, safe work environment
  • Follow installation instructions and safety procedures at all times
  • Support basic electrical, refrigerant line, and duct connections under supervision
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles
  • Provide courteous, professional interaction with homeowners
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the install team
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous construction or HVAC experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor environments
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and follow direction
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
