Join our dynamic team and help enhance customer shopping experiences as a Part-Time Cashier and Stock Associate. In this role, you will operate registers, stock shelves, maintain store appearance, and provide excellent customer service. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities!

Position Type: Part-Time

Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week

Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Wage Increases: Year 2 - $18.50 | Year 3 - $19.00 | Year 4 - $19.00 | Year 5 - $20.00

Duties and Responsibilities:

All candidates must perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to leadership.
• Protect the security and confidentiality of all documents and data.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Process customer transactions, maintain cleanliness, and ensure shelves are stocked neatly.
• Provide outstanding customer service to enhance shopping experiences.
• Give feedback to management regarding products, inventory discrepancies, and general concerns.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling procedures to minimize losses.

Stock Associate Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves and rotate products to ensure freshness.
• Follow merchandising guidelines to create visually appealing displays.
• Organize incoming inventory and properly handle packaging materials.
• Operate equipment safely and follow all safety protocols.

Physical Demands:

Must regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store. Stock associates should be able to lift products weighing up to 45 pounds and stock at various shelf heights.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Perform general cleaning duties to standard.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Effective time management skills.
• Knowledge of company products and services.
• Cashiers must operate cash registers accurately and efficiently.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for selling alcoholic beverages (for Cashiers).
• Ability to safely operate equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers (for Stock Associates).
• Availability to work early morning shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m. (for Stock Associates).

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience providing similar knowledge is sufficient.
