Base Pay: This role offers a minimum base pay starting at $15.00 per hour, with the potential for higher starting pay based on experience.

Purpose: As a Customer Service Cashier, you will be the first and last point of contact for our customers at Floor & Decor. Your primary responsibility is to deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers, processing transactions, handling returns, and ensuring every customer has an exceptional shopping experience. We have full-time and part-time positions available.

Essential Job Functions:

• Welcome every customer with a helpful and courteous attitude.
• Engage with customers, inquire about their projects, recommend products, and inspire excitement about their purchases.
• Provide service that goes above and beyond customer expectations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and demonstrate compliance with company policies.
• Process transactions using the point of sale (POS) system efficiently.
• Handle refunds and exchanges according to established procedures.
• Open and close cash registers as needed.
• Follow cash, check, and credit card acceptance policies.
• Answer phone calls in accordance with company standards.
• Assist in stocking, tagging, and displaying merchandise.
• Generate price tags and product signage as required.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic math skills are essential.
• Previous customer service experience is preferred.
• Potential for travel to other locations for support.

Working Conditions:

• The role may involve exposure to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles, with a typical noise level ranging from quiet to moderate.

Physical/Sensory Requirements:

• This position requires the ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and 10-25 pounds of force frequently. You may need to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Standing, walking, reaching with arms and hands, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may also be required.

Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Saturday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Pickup Hours:

Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Saturday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
