As an Accountant (Level 3 or Level 4), you will play a key role in guiding critical business decisions and innovative solutions and optimize working capital for the world's leading aerospace company.
Primary Position Responsibilities:
- Perform critical Accounts Payables functions for BDSI's suppliers, focusing on payment method optimization
- Ensure compliance and champion internal controls and procedures
- Analyze data and provide business insights to aid decision making by business and finance leaders
- Train and guide other teammates on expanded reporting capabilities
- Engage with the business partners to assess internal and external factors, their impact on business performance and to achieve organizational objectives
- Establish or enhance processes and tools to optimize functional effectiveness.
- Utilize advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookup, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheet
- Work experience with SAP, including reporting capabilities
- Experience analyzing, interpreting, preparing, and reconciling financial information
- 8+ year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1+ years of experience working with Accounts Payable research
- Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and demanding team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills both virtually and in person
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.
