Custodian (Boxwood)

Program Name: Midtown Recovery

Works with the following population: All programs within Boxwood Place and may interact with participants in those programs.

Days & Time: This position will work 40 hours a week. Monday through Friday. Most programs work from 8am to 5pm, with a one-hour lunchbreak.

Pay: $33,072 per year

Job Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, and cleaning windows, glass, and mirrors.
• Sanitation: Cleaning, disinfecting, and stocking restrooms, breakrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Waste Management: Emptying trash cans, collecting recycling, and disposing of waste.
• Maintenance: Performing minor repairs (replacing lightbulbs and reporting major repairs to supervisors.
• Safety & Security: Locking doors, ensuring the building is secure, and following safety procedures.
• Supply Stocking: Monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or GED. At least 1 year of experience, knowledge of safety procedures, maintenance, and the ability to work independently.
