Job Details

This position performs technical duties in the installation and maintenance of traffic signs, pavement markings, and roadway striping. Reviews daily work orders; prepares vehicles and equipment for daily operation. Installs, repairs, and maintains traffic control signs, pavement markings, and roadway striping. Maintains sign and pavement marking inventory; and striping inventory; advises supervisor regarding reorders. Operates welder, cutting torch, forklift, thermoplastic heaters, and grinder; operates power driver to prepare the ground for traffic signs. Installs and programs traffic counters necessary for the collection of traffic volume, vehicle classification, and speed counts. Performs other related duties as assigned.
