POSITION SUMMARY

• Performs patient scheduling, insurance verification, and collection duties accurately, efficiently, and professionally to ensure database integrity.
• Demonstrate professionalism within their communication and interactions with patients and staff.
• Demonstrate sensitivity to confidential matters, be familiar with medical terminology, and the ability to problem-solve.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

• Required Registration/License/Certification

• Preferred Education

  
  
  • Associate Degree in Business or Health related field.
  • Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding preferred

• Preferred Experience

  
  
  • 1 to 2 years Healthcare/Hospital experience.
  • 1 to 2 years Customer service experience.
  • Ability to type 35 words per minute preferred.

• Preferred Registration/License/Certification

  
  
  • Certification of Patient Accounts preferred
