IT Program Manager (SAP S/4HANA)

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Program Manager with deep SAP S/4HANA migration leadership experience to drive a large scale ECC S/4 transformation covering Order to Cash (OTC), Procure to Pay (P2P), and cross functional integration with Finance, MDG, and Supply Chain.

This is a high visibility, politically sensitive, and complex program that requires a leader who can build and enforce governance from the ground up, drive alignment across IT and business stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and maintain program discipline in a scrappy, low maturity environment.

This role is not a technical track PM. It is an enterprise level Program Manager responsible for the full governance framework, program structure, decision processes, and cross workstream orchestration.

What This Role Must Accomplish
You will be expected to create, own, and run the program governance structure, including:
• Program charter, scope baseline, and operating model
• Integrated Master Schedule with critical path
• RAID log, dependency mapping, and milestone tracking
• Cross workstream integration governance (OTC/P2P/Finance/MDG)
• Change Control Board (CCB) and formal decision logs
• Status dashboards for executive and steering committees
• Early morning governance cadence to align with offshore resources

This program requires someone who can lead through influence, navigate a highly political environment, enforce accountability, and escalate issues effectively.

Required Skills & Experience
• 10+ years of Program/Project Management with enterprise ERP transformation experience
• Direct SAP S/4HANA program leadership (not only track level)
• ECC S/4 migration experience (mock cycles, cutover readiness, integration validation)
• Strong functional understanding of OTC, plus familiarity with P2P, MDG, and Finance dependencies
• Ability to drive alignment across teams with conflicting views (e.g., custom code vs. standardization)
• Deep experience running enterprise governance:
o RAID, decision logs, dependency maps
o Critical path management
o Integrated Master Scheduling (MS Project)
o Change control & scope alignment
• Experience working with offshore teams; must be available for 7-9am ET meetings consistently
• Executive level communication and the ability to manage political blockers through structured escalation
• Ability to build governance frameworks in lean or low maturity environments
