Supply Technician

LOCATION: Ft. Benning , GA

SALARY: $26-$28 per hour

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Technician for the Aviation Maintenance Support, supporting the All-Domain Defense Division. located at Ft. Benning, GA. Astrion has worked extensively with the U.S. Army Aviation Brigade where it has earned a reputation for on-time delivery of high-quality products tailored to the needs of its clients.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• High School Graduate or GED
• Minimum of one (1) year of related experience with documented training (either with the Contractor or by validation of qualifying factors to include documented prior military supply experience and training)
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants)
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience with GCCS-A and the Aircraft Notebook (ACN) desired

• Must climb, stand, stoop, bend, stretch, crouch, and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions.
• Must operate manual tools and power tools • Color Vision • Hearing • Frequently lifts parts and equipment up to 20 pounds.
• Occasionally lifts objects up to 50 pounds.
• Most heavy lifting is accomplished using mechanical devices • Work area is primarily aircraft areas, hangars, workshops, and other industrial settings.

• Responsible for coordination, monitoring, and providing supply support; shall analyze all bench stock, prescribed load list, and shop stock; provide recommended revision of stock level in support.
• Supply Specialist coordinates turn-in requirements and/or disposition.
• Manages the inventory, ordering, and recycling of all parts and material requirements, with oversight, develops "save list", and demilitarization actions.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Work Environment: Aircraft areas, workshops, and other industrial settings.
• Physical Requirements: Sit or stand for long periods of time.
