What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Collect, compile, and enter client data in Epic to ensure accurate and timely claim submissions
• Address internal and external inquiries regarding patient accounts and billing questions
• Notify the Manager/Director of any issues that could affect claim submissions or payments
• Maintain Epic Work queues by correcting and resubmitting claims before filing deadlines
• Foster effective communication and collaboration within and between departments

What is Required (Qualifications)

• Minimum of 3 years of medical billing experience
• Knowledge of Ohio Medicaid and Medicare billing processes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in EHR and EPM systems
• Ability to perform additional duties as assigned

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience in a healthcare-related billing role
• Familiarity with Epic systems or similar electronic health record platforms
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
